An action can be anything which develops you as an individual or makes a positive impact on the world around you.

This could be personal reading, hobbies, sports, the arts, volunteering or one of a hundred other activities from taking care of your mental health to entrepreneurship. It could be a relatively small time commitment, such as writing a reflection on a book or podcast which inspired you, or a more significant commitment like the Duke of Edinburgh Award, the IB's CAS component and the Extended Essay.

We want you to see your Citizens profile both as a private log of your personal development, and as a CV you show to the world - so when you want to keep actions private, simply use the action privacy settings to hide these from the public view.

Citizens is still in prototype phase, and in the coming months we will be launching more features to help you take action. These will include:

ℹ️ Mini-explainers for each Learning Outcome or Skill on the Citizens Skills 360

You will be able to browse the Citizens Skills 360 wheel and click on each area of development to understand more about the skills and learning outcomes identified.

🫴 Dedicated Pages for each Learning Outcome or Skill

We will have dedicated pages for each Learning Outcome or Skill in the Citizens Skills 360 framework, with ideas for actions to develop each aspect, from digital literacy to leadership.

πŸ—‚οΈ Inspiration and Ideas Index

We will launch an index of inspiration and ideas, from inspirational videos to recommended opportunities for young people.
